My battery keeps going dead ive never left anjything on would it bee the voltage regulater
2000 XL1200S SPORTSTER HAS OIL LEAKING THROUGH BREATHER I KNOW THE BOALTS THAT HOLD IT ON HAVE OIL GOING THRU THEM TO ME ITS TO MUCH ,THE AIR FILTER WAS ALMOST DRIPING COULD IT BE THE FILTER WAS NOT CHANGED SOON ENOUGH , OR IS SOMTHING ELSE WRONG

Jerrie it could be voltage regulator or it could be from a short grounding out somewhere..
And too Jimmy if you have oil coming up to your air breather that’s telling me that some where along the line you have oil coming up from the cylinder and into the intake as oil tank goes from the oil tank to the block of the engine and circulates to the return hose back into the oil tank if its going into the air breather you got a pretty big problem to face in the future id take it to nearest Harley Davidson shop to have it checked to be safe
